CIVIC WOMEN: TEDWOMEN 2017 CONFERENCE LIVESTREAM
Civic Women invites you to join us for an exclusive look at this year’s TEDWomen Conference, streaming live from New Orleans. This year’s theme is Bridges: we build them, we cross them, and sometimes we even burn them. At this time of deep divides and rising global challenges, we will hear TED Talks from entrepreneurs, innovators, artists and activists, thought leaders from business and civil society—bridge builders from around the world.
RSVP and join us on Tuesday, November 2nd for Sessions 4: Suspend & 5: Burn. Between sessions, there will be time to engage with fellow attendees. Also, food and beverages will be provided.

CIVIC HALL EVENT: FREE DIGITAL SKILLS WORKSHOPS FOR NON-PROFITS
Join us at Civic Hall for a series of free workshops for non-profit executives hosted by Civic Hall and Comcast NBCUniversal. These sessions are intended for non-profit executives who would like to understand more about digital strategy concepts and how they connect to overall organizational strategy. Session will be focused on providing increased understanding of digital strategy and storytelling, how to use data to inform your strategy and work, and how leading-edge technologies like AR/VR can be used to support your work.
Register for one session or multiple sessions. All sessions are from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will be hosted at Civic Hall (118 West 22nd Street, 12th Floor).

PARTNER EVENT: HUMANITARIAN BLOCKCHAIN SUMMIT
From financing to refugee data protection, gender equality to micro-contracts, blockchain technology has the potential to reshape the future of humanitarian action. TheHumanitarian Blockchain Summithosted by the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs at Fordham University will foster dynamic discussions between leaders from the humanitarian and technology sectors to address the challenges and generate workable solutions for blockchain in humanitarian response.
This initiative is put on in partnership with the Centre for Innovation at Leiden University, Civic Hall, and the United Nations Office of Information and Technology.
OUR FIRST WOMEN’S UNCONFERENCE
Civic Hall is excited to present our first Women’s Unconference, in partnership with LMHQ and Civic Women, on the evening of Thursday, November 30th. This event will emphasize the informal exchange of information and ideas between participants about innovations in women’s advocacy and female empowerment.
